Transport network
The lines operated by JR are: Out of Hakata Station: JR Kagoshima Line: north to Kokura and Honshu, south for Kumamoto and Kagoshima.
JR Nagasaki Line:
JR Sasaguri Line: east to Keisen
JR Kashii Line: north to Saitozaki, south to Umi.
JR Chikuhi Line: west to Karatsu (this is an extension of the subway).
The Lines operated by Nishitetsu are: Nishitetsu Omuta Line: Tenjin Station to Omuta.
Nishitetsu Miyajidake Line: eastern extension of the Kaizuka subway.
