May's Fukuoka City guide is written by resident expats for tourists, visitors and residents alike.
It contains regularly updated restaurant and bar reviews, accommodation information, features, guides, places to go, things to do and see, survival information for visitors and advice for residents. Most of the site is accessible through the web or via your internet enabled telephone (currently i-mode and j-phone are supported at http://www.kyushu.com/fukuoka/i/).
With comprehensive search options, it is quite possible to find, for example, all the bars of a particular type near a particular subway station - even from your internet telephone!
There are many hundreds of pictures on the site - clicking on them will take you either to more information or a larger version of the image. (javascript required).
