Modern surgery and extremely well trained staff (the University hospital is just across the road). Dentists speak some English - receptionist prepared to cope with pretty basic Japanese.
Note that they are extremely careful and you may find yourself coming back for more visits than you would in a western surgery: but they took care of an impacted wisdom tooth some years ago with great skill and I have used them ever since.
Come out of exit ??? of Maidashikyudaibyoin-mae subway station and it is on the third floor of the building to your immediate right. By car, it is behind the Prefectural Police headquarters close to the subway exit.
