Powered by 400 bean eating chimpanzees, the Saibu gas centre is a mildly diverting display of gas-at-work.
Its major advantages are that it is 1) free, 2) air conditioned - a welcome respite from the summer heat or winter rain at no cost to you, 3) will get the kids - and if you are really lucky - your husband of your back for a couple of hours with lots of sciency things to twiddle and play with.

In Momochi. By car is most convenient, or walk down from Nishijin. Close to the library.
