Sitting on top of Dames de France, next to Bon Repas in Yakuin, Keawjai is a convenient lunchspot after a morning stocking up on western food necessities.
A light, pleasant, airy restaurant, it offers an all you can eat lunch for 1750yen or so. The food tastes authentic, with hot spicy noodles prepared in front of you and brought steaming to the table. The range of food available is adequate, though strict vegetarians might find it a little limited, but what there is is prepared well with attention to detail and with fewer compromises to the Japanese palate (designed more to distinguish 256 flavours of rice than cope with the spices of Siam) than some other places. That said, the price makes it more an occasional lunchtime indulgence than a regular lunchspot.
In the evenings pretentions and prices move upmarket. Worth a visit.

Pay parking on top of Bon Repas.
Come out of Yakuin station on the MacDonald's side. Turn right and walk up Yakuin dori for about 100 metres. Turn diagonally right at the petrol pumps/garage ("gas stand") and walk 50 metres or so to "Bon Repas". Kewajai is next to the main Bonrepas entrance. It is within walking distance of Tenjin (15 minutes). By car, it is close to Yakuin Mutsukado.
