Tsuyoshi Nakamura, the owner of L*oasis, fell in love with the location as soo as he saw it and it is not hard to see why with its breathtaking views of autumn colour through the large picture windows. Nakamura-san trained for 6 plus years in restaurants in northern France, followed by 3 years in Amsterdam. L*oasis is small, so you might want to reserve at night, but the restaurant is elegant and intimate - excellent for a romantic lunch or dinner.
The food is a mixture of Italian/French influenced food. Lunch starts from 1000yen, dinner from 3500yen.
The restaurant is on the hill behind Hirao. Go down Takamiya Dori towards Takamiya and turn right at Yanase. Follow the road up the hill. You will quickly come to a group of love hotesl - turn sharp right, up a sideroad that goes up the hill. the restaurant is on the left, second floor.
