Legal Counselling Centre for Foreign Nationals operated by the Fukuoka Prefecture Bar Association.
Information by Staff
The Legal Counselling Centre offer legal advice to foreign nationals. They claim to be able to accommodate any language, but reservations should be made in English, Chinese or Japanese.
Sessions are held twice a month, but the Chinese and English interpreters appear to be generally available for one session each only.
There is an interview with member of the Fukuoka Bar about this service in the May 2000 edition of "Rainbow" (see sidebar).
Note that Rainbow Plaza offer a similar service, also operated in conjunction with the Fukuoka Bar.
